I am not sure if this has been addressed in a past G2G vote (I tired searching). I would love an in game encyclopedia similar to what you have in Civilization or even Alpha Centauri (considering that game is spiritually closer to Endless Space). Not only would it help new players but I always had fun browsing through them for the general background knowledge about a certain tech or unit.
