I don't. I just do not see the "to be voted" beside this feature on the planning. After two day of work, Amplimath tell me "You know... It's not voted yet...". When I came back to life (after one hour of heart massage), I realize that I need help from community.





And the illustrations will not appear anytime you find a new tech, just some of the most important one (T-70 at random).

Yeah, while the two bits of artwork look nice, I'd rather see comets, pulsar flares (please), black holes and other things. Make the map look more interesting.

Whereas I love the artwork I am less than enamoured about the prospect of all of our lovely ideas for adding some fluff being distilled down into just adding eight new faction illustrations to be shown for whenever a new tech is discovered. Whereas the game does need new event illustrations and lots of them along with new events this on its own is not going to add much atmosphere to the game. The game really needs lots of lovely events+pics, science discovery pics, colony pics (perhaps as they grow is size), colonising pics, anomaly pics, diplomacy pics (war, alliance, co-operative agreement etc). As such I cant imagine that the way to go is to do different ones for each faction, but more likely generic ones for every faction.



There is no doubt the game is improving, but at such a slow pace that at this rate it will be another year before I might want to play this game again. We might even have Elite 4 out before this game gets 'finished' !!
