Something that I've felt was lacking since I first began to play just came to mind, so I thought I'd see if others felt the lack as well

What do you think about the Battle reporting "After Action" window listing the "cards" used in the Battle along with the other info it lists?

Rough illustration:

I've missed this mostly as a tool to evaluate what decisions were made in the "Auto" option, especially with regard to trying to give feedback on whether changes/improvements should be made to it while we're still testing the game, but also because it is (IMO) a missing piece of the picture for reporting on a battle in general.

Great idea! And since it just involved improving on something already there, it's not like it's clunky or lacking in aesthetics.

+1smiley: approval - anything that allows for more accurate and in-depth combat reports is a good idea. Since the cards have an effect on the outcome of a battle, it would be good to see them there. smiley: smile

I like the bragging rights too.

This has been added to summary list under Interfaces > UI - After Combat report

I hope I'm not committing a faux pas when replying to an old thread, but I stumbled upon this while making sure I wasn't posting a duplicate. I love the idea!

You'd have committed the faux pas by making a duplicate thread in my mind.

Feel encouraged to post to old threads here as much as you like. I don't want to have sieved through all of them looking for duplicates just so they accumulate dust. (not the ES one!)

Excellent suggestion! Now that I think about it, I've also missed this, especially seeing what cards were played during auto combat.

For me, it was one of those things I didn't realize I was missing until someone pointed it out. Now I keep seeing it smiley: smile

And as someone else mentioned, I'd love to use the after-action-report as a learning tool. It's already got some good feedback in terms of the effectiveness of various armors and weapons.

Good idea indeed, shouldn't be hard to add to the game as well.
