Ran into this problem last night, totally agree. Not sure how it hasn't been implemented yet. This feature was in the original MOO!

Another +1. Rally points are a common feature in games like this and damn could this game ever use it.

I'm also in favor of being able to set rally points. Exactly as srt8driver said, this would save a lot of time and effort in the mid/late game.

I was about to create a thread to ask for Rally point. It would really help the mid/late game DRAAAAAAAAGG. War is sometimes a fun thing (actually always fun in Endless Space), especially when you are kicking our dozens of great new ships. Clicking on the hanger hundreds of time to create fleets, then moving them individually to a single system close to the front to merge into fleets, a real pain.



I think this is a mandatory feature before going gold. Not having one will needlessly cost Endless Space points when it is eventually reviewed by gaming mags/sites.

Encountered issue: in large galaxies in mid/end game when you're massproducing ships while at war, you want them at the frontlines in fully stocked fleets as fast as possible.

This means to me manually selecting newly build ships every turn, launching them by theirselves as a fleet, manually moving them to a certain gathering point and manually merging them in usable fleets.



Proposed solution: in the system view, at your hangar, there could be a new button. When pressing this, you return to galaxy view and can pick a system. The game displays the route a ship would take there.

After confirming that, all newly built ships in this system will automaticly launch and set course for the set system.



Coding required: really don't know. A medium amount I reckon. Adding a new interface thingy.



Worth it?: imho, certainly! But please respond below!

As this is my first suggestion here I'm not really sure what's a decent way to get attention for this.

Can't find option to add poll to this existing thread.

Are all suggestions evaluated by moderators?

I think that being able to select some fleets that are in different places and point them a common system to go is more useful than rally point. But both should be added.
