I played Sowers for the first time today and although the (malus) addition next to planet names helps to identify which planets you will receive penalty on if you colonise; when you're zoomed out to galaxy view every planet looks the same (white or blue circle). This creates a fair bit of micromanagement to examine systems individually to determine if you should expand there or not.



Would it be possible to change the planet colonisation colours for Sowers so instead of just showing every planet circle in white colour (or blue for colonised worlds) it shows them in orange colour to signify you can colonise this planet but will suffer penalties. If you have the tech to reduce the planet penalties then it should show a white circle.



I hope I've explained it correctly. Please let me know if you do not understand what I'm trying to say

Seems fair, the information is already available to you by reviewing your research tab but I see no reason the UI shouldn't be as streamline and user friendly as possible

As a Sower player (my fav race thus far) I have noticed that the system display now suffixes un-researched planets with "(malus)"*. That is a great help and for this to be also visible on the Galaxy map would be marvelous.



* Altho the suffix shows "malus: -50%" when colonised by the Sowers. Should this not be -25%?
