Potential game flaw when developing and speeding up Planet Exploitation

Sorry if this has been posted before,

While developing a Planet Exploitation, I paid dust to have the exploit complete in 1 turn. By mistake I clicked and switched the exploitation choice. When I reverted to the original exploitation choice, I once again had to wait multiple turns for completion, but the dust was not returned to my "coffers".

Punishment for sticky-fingers? smiley: confused

Thanks

This sounds more like a question, maybe bug report, than a suggestion for gameplay changes/additions.

And I've seen it reported before. I can't find the threads that I've seen linked before, but yes. If you buy out an enhancement, and then un-queue the item for any reason, your money is gone. I don't think it's so much of a punishment as an oversight. I don't think people thought to test buying out items and then getting rid of them, as who would waste valuable Dust like that?

Given that the purchase button lacks a confirmation, it is a bit of an odd punishment. The solution should be that once you've purchased something, it cannot be removed from the queue...
