I have a suggestion to make life easier by adding information to the empire screen without making it more difficult to comprehend the information that is displayed.



Make it so that in the empire screen you can see the locust point status of each planet i.e. write the planets name in blue for improved white for normal and red for depleted so you can see at glance what planets are at what status. I am not sure if there is another indicator than the planet view to see the locust point status of planets. also it should say when you move the mouse cursor over the planet's name in empire view what the locust status is. The tooltips are amazing, in my opinion the game is very polished and this seems like a natural extension to the already slick interface.

Interesting suggestion. Locust points are per planet, and the empire screen is per system. Suppose one planet in a system is improved but another is depleted. What to show then, in the empire screen?

How about coloured dots representing the number of planets of what status? that could work and then when you move your mouse over a/the dots it gives a tool tip saying it is the status of locust points which will make you want to click on your planet to go into system view



Or it changes the colour of the system name based on the avarage i.e. 2 out of 3 planets is improved = blue etc.



Personally i like the dots depicting exactly what you need to know by just looking at it.

I noticed that I spent alot of time in my craver game checkign planents depleted status- It would be really cool if there was a pop-up notification when a planent or planets go from Improved to Normal or Depleted- kind of like tech and production finished notifications.
