I don't think so. Save games in the My Documents folder not in the Steam Cloud folder, so game is not using Steam Cloud right now. But I hope they will add it, I am playing my games on PC and my notebook and I can continue my game everywhere with it.

Joking aside, good to know. I'm curious what else is on the list, and the order it's being tackled in, buuuut...I'll be patient and wait for patch release notes.

I would love to have achievements in the game! But not only hard ones, I would prefer scaled ones. And some should only be made available for higher difficulty levels, as the first three are really too easy and everyone would get every achievemnt. Wouldn't feel like a real success then...

Yep!

and scenarios like the one system challenge (Giving the player an ultra system) and expecting him to survive for 200 turns.

Wonder victory with the Hissho

Expansion victory with the Amoeba

Economic victory with the Sophon

Annihilation victory with the Pilgrims

Scientific victory with the Cravers

Diplomatic victory with the Horatio

Yeah, achievements like "As the United Empire, conquer both the Pilgrim and Horatio factions in a game," and perhaps victory related ones to go with factions. For example, achieve a:

Economic victory with the U.E.

Supremacy victory with the Hissho

Diplomatic victory with the Amoeba

Scientific victory with the Sophon

Wonder victory with the Pilgrims

Annihilation victory with the Cravers

Expansion victory with the Horatio/Cravers

Achievements would be good as long as they are really bloody hard, none of that Build a ship! or Press one button! business, i want people to do AAR's on the great campaigns in order to get these achievements, i want them to really be worth getting, a true badge of service.

People looking back on this game like its Vietnam! Flashbacks and everything!

I would find it nice too if the steam achievements are visible here in the forum below the achievements of the forum. It would be a way here on the forum participants show up and compete with each other in tournaments like this: anyone who can win the title the achievement of such a forum for such a group.

Funny, really.

I think it's just general assumption now that games will have achievements, and thus no need to suggest/ask for them, considering how widespread they've become.

In that case, this question doesn't matter, but to add on:

Do we have a list now of what they are, like how 360 game achievements always get found out before the game comes out? Just idle curiosity, really.
