Currently, only galaxy age has a random option available. Galaxy shape, size and empire number do not have that option. Neither do any of the 6 of the 8 advanced options. But 2 of them do! So I'm hopeful that we can have random added to all of them. This is admittedly very minor, but it's an option I miss dearly from when I play Civ. I just really like all random map setup.
