Slightly rename more than once occuring factions in a game

It occured to me that it is possible to face in a solo game up to 7 United Empire positions. So why not let thesecond name be more flexible ie the second ai "United Earth" would be "United Federation" the third "United Earth" would be the "United Comonwealth" etc. This would further having the pedestals in the holigraph screen being labeled. This of course would work with all Ai races. Granted it would not be a major playability change but a nice piece of "Crome" and fairly easy to initiate!

I agree, but more along the lines of the lore.

With the insolent dukes, Businessmen and such.

I only agree in that it can be difficult in the diplomatic panel to tell same/mirror factions apart, so something should be done here. Perhaps show the faction's colour somewhere in the panel (the colour used by the faction on the map).

Actually prevent the AI from picking same faction more than one time. It may be balanced for multiplayer but i find it silly in single games to see endless copies of my faction swarming the galaxy

Since you can pick your opponents yourself, I'm not sure I understand the problem.

Do you want something like a "random without repetition" option added to the new game screen?
