Missiles need to change targets when target is destroyed

and if the launching ship is still active. To prevent abuse of this with glass cannons I would go further and restrict this ability to BB/DN or make a Fire Control module that is too large for destroyers to mount efficiently. They are pretty much useless as a secondary battery on larger ships simply because one ship gets to attack only one target at a time. This would at least give missiles an additional function instead of being tracers for ionized ships

I kinda like the idea, but missiles are very, very powerful.



A alternative weapon, or a heavy and expensive add on to existing missiles might be more appropriate.

Perhaps there could be some smart ammunition along the line of missiles which lock onto a new target if the one they were originally launched at has been destroyed? If this is done, however, there need to be fewer missiles in a salvo, as they're quite powerful...
