Pre-set fleet tactics

A quick proposal for the implementation of fleet tactics that are pre-set and customisable almost like those you assign characters in rpgs such as Dragon's Age.



The tactics allow you to make alterations to your fleets AI such as targeting etc etc



The tactic slots would be unlocked alongside fleetsize improvement tech, giving an impression of the better command and control those improvements bring.



End game something like 4 slots to fill with behavioral alterations.



The tactics would be conditional i.e target missle bearing ships in long range or even specific to the behavior of a type of ship such as a defense heavy class positioning itself to draw fire.



I think this may be a good way to get some extra depth, which is easy to implement, doesnt require a massive amount of player attention (default behaviors when a fleet is made set by players then free to be altered?) and visible once the battle starts.



In addition unlocking tech could unlock strategies alongside them that provide smaller base buff to fleets but at the expense of the versalitily the other tactics provide. This would be a great way to insert fleet formation into this game.



It also sits nicely with the battle card theme this game has.

If the battle card improvement for auto battles miraculously comes to fruition, then I'd love to see this similarly be implemented. I love advanced 'strategery'. smiley: smile
