You stuck the research one out there in an odd spot, but why not just use a row in the table to show totals for all columns? Population/food/industry/dust/science and such? It would it make it much easier to determine over all effect of my tax rate than watching columns and going "that looks okay"

I'd like to see this implemented too. +1
