SUGGESTION Change knowledge gather to reward based on 5value of MP on enemy fleet.

Dear Amplitude,



This is my opinion (shared by my friends):



Knowledge gathering is broken: you can easily chat with another player and strike a bargain: He feeds you empty scout ships for knowledge gathering, and he, in return, sends you money and research with a cease fire.



Also, once a knowledge gatherer gets the advantage, there's no stopping him. It's too much of an advantage to have this trait.



My solution:



Knowledge gathering should reward the player by giving a percent amount of research points for a victory based on the mp of the enemy he defeated. This will prevent empty scout ships from being valuable targets.

Still exploitable. He can send high kinetics armor no weapon scout ships against a laser ship of yours...

You know based on mp would make it broken late game. You know that 25k mp fleets. Currently its fine.

It really is useless to try and compensate for deals made between players. If players are going to twist rules no amount of coding is going to make it right without negatively impacting all players.

How is that broken? By that time, 20 sci points are useless.
