A shortkey to end the turn would be great imho.

I think this is already included.

Try the enter key on your numpad.

no numpad there.

I did try it, but I don't remember this working ... was it added in a patch ? (so maybe I didn't try in the right time)

I have a laptop without a numpad and the normal Enter key does the trick. Try again next time you play.
