I have about 300-500 hours played, beat endless a few times but I have not played since the AI ship refit patch to present. Overall I think this game is well on track to being a lifetime favorite of mine, but needs more work to combat replay weariness. I am glad to see such passionate development continuing on this game. Big hearty congratulations to Amplitude! I wold gladly reccomend this game to anyone.



Now to my suggestion (I have many but 1 step at a time).



When changing construction cue items, I find myself constantly doing 1 thing repeatedly... Assigning percentage production to dust or research, tacked on the end of every stack of build selections.



Solution: In the empire overview screen, have a toggle that is for dust or science. You select one, and any cue that does not have anything selected to build, defaults to this. It still allows for manual change, but if nothing is selected, it replaces that empty cue with whatever is in this toggle selection.



That would allow someone to simply select what they want built, and never have to put anything at the end, unless it is different than the default. Would go a long way at combating replay weariness for me.

Even though you get a notification whenever a system's construction is complete, this would be a nice addition. Although it would be a little bit difficult to manage, considering you would have to choose which of the two (science/dust) to default to.

Or maybe just have it always default to dust, and then you would only manually change it if you wanted Science. This would make the most sense, since at some point Science can become useless (if you research all techs - unlikely, but a possibility) whereas there is never going to be a limit on Dust.
