Would you please consider giving us an indication on the overview of how many planets are still waiting to be colonized?



We can see population levels but not how many planets are waiting. This would be very useful in the later game when we have a large empire and new technologies allowing colonization.

Second, you can see what planets are waiting to be colonized. In the galaxy view, look at the dots by the names of systems. Any white dot means a planet in that system can be colonized. A blue dot means you have colonized it, and a grey dot means you can't colonize that planet yet.

Third, this has been suggested before and will likely be archived.

You can see it from the 'overview' (I assume you mean the Empire screen with the list of colonies) but possibly not in the way you want. However, if you press one of the tabs of a colony on this screen (I don't recall what particular one, sorry - it's one of the first ones, though, probably the one with the population bar) it will show you precisely how the system is populated at the bottom of the screen. There's just no at-a-glance overview, you'll need to view the actual galaxy for that. Personally, I see no use for a such feature as I 'visit' the actual systems frequently enough when assigning construction projects that I know what the systems are like. One can also already see if the system population is reaching its current limit from the population bar.

Hmm, I just checked again and no, none of the tabs are showing me that.



Cycling through our systems is fine when you only have a few but when you're in a big game and you have tons of them, it can get tedious. The overview / Empire screen shows us a great deal of information for this exact reason so I see no harm in having this included.
