The one who rule all galaxy. "Corporate Bank of Galaxy" witth non known leader.. dark mystery of galaxy.

Institute where you can:

- borrow money (20% interest)

- sell old ships (get dust)

- exchange. where you can buy tech points/industry points paying with dust

- sell/buy things using AUCTIONS with other players

i started think about that because of "borrow money(dust)" what missing for me in games like this. Game could be more interesting.

Interesting, I was just thinking about the possibiliy of doing this between factions but it occurs to me that you could already do something like this with the diplomacy mechanics. You could borrow money from another power by creating a "dust flat fee" treaty and the interest payments would be simulated by a "dust per turn" treaty. I'd guess this would probably work better in multiplayer than with the computer though.

I think to balance game could be given a different factor of loan interest for every player according to his actual points score.

Example:

Player with lowest game score can get a loan for 10 turns with 10% interest.

Player with highest game score can get a loan with 30% interest.

I know it's not fair and quite different to real world where a richest get better loan interest. But we want this game make more balanced and helpfull for weakest players.

Borrowing money can do game more economic manage.

Dont have money to get back loan? Bank Of Galaxy can take you stuff(planet, hero, ship..) to send it on auction! :-)

The bank could make "investments" in infrastructure on poorer systems and leak technology to those systems. Let's say a faction hasn't discovered adaptive taxation yet the bank would offer to build it for the modest price of 4 dust per turn INDEFINITELY.

Ooh, and they can also be where all the dust maintenance costs are going (especially for ships) leading them to fund wars for personal gain.
