When I'm playing endless space my mind always drifts to Star Trek,and I just think about how on the Star Trek shows they are always finding "Pre-Warp" (Pre Space Age) species on planets,I was thinking that this should be implemented into Endless Space ,if you find a planet with one of these primitive species you can choose to do a number of things with them (Exterminate,Study,Enslave,Live Alongside them Peacefully,etc.)It was just a random thought,thought it would make the game more realistic and interesting

I sort of already ran into that in Endless Space, well not entirely. There was a planet that had Friendly Locals as one of the planet traits. I would say that would seem like a great idea if the "goldilocks zone" planets weren't so rare. I think the every once in a while thing they already have is good, if life was abundant in galaxies then we wouldn't be scanning for the stars for anything that could support life right now (and found so little mind you).
