This thing is huge! Almost makes me want to petition for a Universal Republic Faction in game... Ah well, we have enough human factions already, maybe we could get an event or hero to tie them in?

United Universal Republic Hero, that would definitely show the developers involvement in the forums (well, them posting this forum on their facebook page was huge as well). But adding fan made factions

What year is the diplomatic map for? (Should we do one per century?)

And when did the Horatio go to war with the UE? I thought they were neutral and were playing both sides against the middle.

As for additional ideas, we do need some more lore fodder for the overall conflict between the sides.

Oh haha, remember I showed you my map edit? The Horatio was pushing far into UE territory so I made it that they are pushing them back, reclaiming lost terriotry, because a lot of their systems are stuck behind Horatio land

. I wrote that it was the nearest planet to the sophons and a war happened between 3000-3200 between UE and Sophons

I have edited that spelling mistake

Civilians fleeing UE space, heading in every direction, the Hissho didn't bather killing them because slaughtering civilians isn't what they do, and the dishonor of the UE won't be tolerated in their presence.

And the Sophons didn't start the revolution, they just added wood to the fire.

Edit: Sophon UE shadow war (Igncom :P) The fall of Antega (Igncom :P) Rebellion first victory (UUR or before that?) The raid on the Inquery (I forgot, the Ambassador ship or Sophons... something

) The Sophon invasion of Nova (whats Nova) The Amoeba fire ships (the kamakazi's?)\

Edit 2: The fourth wave of UE colonisation ends with a rights to colonise conflict with the Sophons, a cold war ensues as both sides lead raids to reduce the political power over the new UE border worlds (3507) Haha, UE lead raids to reduce their own political power? :P

Sure, as long as it doesn't counter act current lore, and is generally a good bit of lore, you can add anything.
