Bio weapons?

Otherwise, yep.

(Also people really need to inform me of major events like the Sophons leaving the alliance, so it can be added to the timeline as a major event.)

I am a bit confused by the situation. Tell me if I am wrong about the following plot threads.

* The UE scored a significant naval victory over the UUR in 3727ish, then had a clone of the UUR admiral commit a bunch of atrocities.

* Zelevas' bioweapons program is starting to be deployed.

* The Sophons have ended their friendship with the UUR due to the 1st incident on this list and the whole Zend rebellion fiasco.

Is this correct?

Seems about right. I'm not sure if the Clone Deception (fancy title!) should occur in 3727 or not as there are so many different plots already being pursued and it would be nice to expand this project beyond a single century. Or this would just be a 100 year warsmiley: stickouttongue.

Well we do have history of over 300 years so far, this just happens to be a heated (And easy to write) century.

If I may suggest, the later centry's are where shit go's down in terms of bother the republic and empire, spacemagedon.

Currently: The republic have lost 3 major systems to both the Empire and those cultists, are no longer allies with the sophons, have support from the pilgrims, and the amoeba (Who were years away from extinction by the empire, and craver raiding party's) and the amoeba they actually have to protect.

The empire has taken back 2 known systems from the republic, are beginning to deploy advanced energy weapons, have really good admirals, the new Sheridan fleet, and have begun the deployment of MAC super guns.....so suffice to say, the empire is currently winning.

The horatio are playing both sides against the middle, amoeba are reeling from genocide, pilgrims aren't really here in force at the moment, and the sophons have gone neutral.

SO we still have room for the craver, hissho, sowers and automatons to play a part.

Ya, back from page 5? A part of the Zend Rebellion thread?

3736: First testing of Zelevas' bioweapons occurs on Republican backwater planet, Durian IV. Population is completely decimated, nano-virus is successfully controlled. Republic officials baffled by the planet's destruction, formal investigation begins but no evidence is discovered. Operations blamed on Zend rebels, fighting intensifies. First testing an Empire success.

I'll give a summary here: Zelevas is an Empire scientist (or admiral, correct me if you can!) that tries to fix the Republic situation after the MAC fiasco that ended in Empire failure. So much for a superweapon. He begins researching and building bioweapons that can be deployed to wipe out systems and then deactivated for recolonization. With the Republic's domestic problems after the Zend Rebellion and the Sophon's withdrawal, Zelevas is using the confusion to test and refine his weapons to be put into full effect sometime soon.

Who needs new posts? I'll get started with a new plot right here: With the mounting domestic troubles and the strange quietness on the Empire front, the UUR Council commissions one of their members, a spymaster by the name of Heirea, to handle these issues. She creates the Republic's new internal police force and spy network, a group of elite proffessionals known as Black Star. The organization has its face presented as a simple Republic intelligence agency, but beneath the surface a growing system of spies and assassins is spreading throughout Republic space, and starting to infiltrate the Empire as well.

In 3731, the Zend Rebellion is finally brought to an end after the assassination of Anamorro by Black Star operatives. While a successor was chosen, the Church started to rip itself apart without its leaders strong guidance, and a collection of simple philosophy disagreements about just what serving Zend seems to entail brought their operation to its knees. While the cult continues to exist, they are now under control and their attacks have lessened or ceased on all Republic worlds.

Well the empire doesn't want to wipe people out! they want to conquer and dominate it.

And I apologize, as it hasn't been added to the wiki yet, would you like to do it now?

(Please start adding this stuff to the wiki when its good enough at your own digression, we can review stuff later once it is compiled.)

Isn't black star used by someone else already? A book or something? and I it needs to be before 3730 because I made a post that has spies before that smiley: biggrin

Which one? And its not like they didn't have spies before that or anything, it's just now they are a larger and stronger force.

I don't know about the name, I just used it to try and fit the theme of both space AND spies smiley: biggrin. If we need to rename it that's cool, I'm open to suggestions.

Edit: Okay, read your post and lets make the date 3730, and have the spies that discovered the shipyards be given an honorable mention in the founding of the group.

Less productive than yesterday :P. I'll make a detailed battle page tomorrow. Considering how important it will be, just to capture a system? something more important? And how big will the fleets be, which would probably be determined by a when.

Igncom, this is for you smiley: wink

The Declaration of Neutrality of Boshen.

Boshen is a solar system whos economic system is a free enterprise, and the government is a Corporation, the Corporation of Free Traders-Green Merchants-Aggressive Industries, the three biggest companies in the system. Being the capitalists that they are, they feel that providing and trading with both sides will provide more profit. To assure that neither will try to grab hold of Boshen, they tell each side, secretly of course, that they will provide discounts on products solely for them. The two Empires, unaware that both received this, agree, feeling it will be mutually beneficial to their own empire, and Boshen, (Boshen getting UUR trading, and UE getting "discounts")

After a year of trading each of the corporate leaders, being greedy and wanting to get rid of the other and inherit their empires, went to the Empire leaders, individually, and told explained that the other two companies were breaking policy and providing discounts to the enemy. UE and UUR, both confused at the situation, independently sent armies to try and capture the corporate leaders as prisoners, and the galaxy to incorporate into their empires. A sophon (you guys give him a name smiley: smile ), the head of the (His name) Distributions, the biggest sophon provider of exotic and entertainment products, wants to have Boshen VI, a jungle planet known for its rare fruits. Realizing that the UUR is going to capture the system, buys a fleet of ships, and hires several mercenary sophons, and the 4th biggest sophon security service, the Carbon Panshenir (named after a fictional ferocious beast from the sophon homeworld) and uses them to man the fleet. He sends the UUR a message that he will provide military reinforcements in exchange for receiving Boshen VI, which he will agree to allow trade with, as well as create a mass trade hub and include his other merchandise. The UUR grateful that any Sophon is willing to cooperate, let alone communicate with them after the Emperors clone incident, glady accept.

As both fleets arrive, they quickly get rid of the system guards before noticing that the other is there. After a giant battle (that I will create later). The UUR barely survive as the winner, only with the help of the (sophon guys') fleet. As promised, he receives Boshen VI, while the UUR brings the other five planets under their control. Emperor Maximilian, enraged at the loss of the system begins rallying a new fleet, to bring the system under his control, no matter how many planets survive (wink wink, nudge nudge MAC play?). RIIF infiltrators, discovering this plan, inform the UUR who begin preparing defenses and rebuilding, in recuperation for a second encounter with the MAC. But that is a story for another idea/page/whatever.
