It is the 13th anniversary since the foundation of the studio (the official date will be the 21st)  
 

A note for the newcomers, it is a moment to celebrate among the community, which tends to indicate freebies, promotions, streams, game updates, news, and more!



There are a lot of surprises to discover today and tomorrow (Endless Dungeon today, and Humankind + Endless Day tomorrow). You will find on the MAIN PAGE all the information and rewards you will be unlocking.

STRETCH GOALS 


Let’s begin to talk about the Stretch Goals for the entire Community. What are those? Very simple, we will have some rewards that will be unlocked to the entire community and in order to participate you just need to play any of our games (so you can just keep playing your favorite one or try some of the recent updates of the games, like Wild Cards on Endless Dungeon or George Sand on Humankind).

Do not fear of not being able to finish it, we have made some estimations to make sure that this is achievable (lucky you that is not me the person who has done it).



But as mentioned above, today it is “ENDLESS™ Dungeon” day, so let’s do a quick recap of what is getting released today, YES you read correctly, we are releasing something > an Update 



WILD CARDS UPDATE  



We have a DEDICATED BLOG that covers everything that goes into the update but here are the main points


We are adding 3 new elements to the game (more info in a couple of lines hehe) that will add more variety to your run.  

This is our first step in the direction of improving the replayability and the variety of the game. 

  • Station Cards: At the start of each district, players can choose a card to stack a new bonus for their run for things like economy, turrets, medkits, and more! 
  • District Drawbacks: When choosing a district, players will encounter a gameplay modifier and will need to adapt to survive! 
  • 4 Alternative Monsters: Face off against terrifying variations of your favorite monsters, like the Destroyer or the Webhunter. 

 

Alongside this update, we released the Japanese VO for the game (HERE is a dedicated blog with the information). And to celebrate this milestone we have created 2 additional skins that are free to all players and that you can already find in the game! 

  • Cherry Blossom Shroom: no need for further explanation of the reference hehe  
  • Popona Bunker: the skin is based on the Vtuber Popona, who did the Japanese voice acting for Bunker  



 And (YES I know, there is a lot of “and” and “additionally”, but we are here to celebrate) to laud the release of this update and also Amplified 2024 we have started a “small” challenge!



You have a dedicated blog in case you are interested in knowing more about it, but here is a short summary

The challenge plays around a speedrun on certain conditions. We will be updating, on the dedicated blog, a leaderboard and we will give a nice badge to all the participants (+ top 5) 

  • You will need to play a game with the Beverage “Fine Crystal” in Normal or Hard 
  • You can play solo or multiplayer 
  • The best results will be determined by Time and Score  

Hope you enjoy this small challenge that we have prepared for you, as we know the reception was positive when we host these “events” during the previous OpenDevs 



Hero Co-Creation


It is been a while and most of you won't remember it, but last year during Amplified we managed to get the latest reward on the Stretch Goals and it was a Co-Creation of a Hero for Endless Dungeon! And well TODAY we start a series of Votes with you, the community, to design a new hero.


But this hero is a familiar face for you >> VIGGIE.

Exactly! Viggie will be a playable hero in the future and we will be having a series of votes during the next weeks/month to decide the archetype of the character, the skills, the background, etc.

On today's vote, which will finish on the 31st of January, we will decide the Origin Story of the Character!
