And while I care little about the Hall of Fame (I was geofenced out of some past humankind competitions), im going to speedrun the first place on the Leaderboard . 

Let’s analyze how to enter the Leaderboard

• Start the Scenario from the Play section of the main menu
• Win the scenario as quickly as you can 
• Create a new submission in the 100 Years War section of the Contests page, including 
• A screenshot of your victory screen 
• A save of your victory turn (found in \Documents\Humankind\Save Files) 
• If you play a second time, please update your existing submission (Do not create a new one) 

All entries will be added to the leaderboard, ranked by how quickly they won the scenario (faster victories ranking higher)

TLDR: we have been asked to speedrun the 100 Years war Scenario

Those conditions have some points that are notibly missing:

• There is no requirement to change difficulty to a certain difficulty
• There is no requirement to actually subugate england
• There is no requirement to turn off mod’s
• Self-elimination is not banned

This leaves a lot of room for speedrunners to cheese, so this is what this run will do.
 Players that have played 1v1 in multiplayer know that there needs to be a rule on self-elimination, since otherwise the first player to advance wins the game by Darwin Award.

Since there is no souch rule in the challenge, this is the speedrun we are going for.

• Turn 1 Speedrun does not seem possible, since there are just no hostile units in range for the Darwin Award.
• Turn 2 is therefore the fastest that can theoreticly be done.

Now there are multiple ways to Darwin Award, to win at the end of Turn 2 (in the transition to Turn 3) and since faster victories rank higher, we don’t want to go there.

This is why we chose to eliminate us during turn 2, before ever pressing the end turn button.(This ends the scenario)

So with all that explained, let’s see the setup we are going for.

Also known as getting a darwin award by using a event that was added, afther players complained about some players getting free citys in multiplayer, because they had better luck with independent people spawns.

This ends with the most unexpected score screen.
You can only see one turn of statistics on it, since the game updates the statistics at the end of a turn and we never reached the end of Turn 2.
 Fame is immediately updated, so we have 300 fame from obtaining two expansionistic stars and thus winning the game (England has 100 fame).

I knew this "contest" made no sense the moment I saw that the difficulty setting wasn't established, but I didn't even think about mods or "suicide". Man, this was a silly one. Hopefully the next contest will make more sense.
