So... I'm very excited about the reveal of Mankind, and I eagerly subscribed to the newsletter and put it on Steam Wishlist right away. And soon I noticed that Italian isn't planned as a released language. I know that Endless Space and Endless Legend had Italian localization (both provided by the community as far as I know), while Endless Space 2 had not -- and I somehow understand the marketing point.

Anyway, There's some really talented commnuties out there devoted to develop custom localizations -- I knew a couple myself (not involved in any way, however) that could do a good job. I was wondering whether it's too early to think about this, or if the sooner we think about this, the better it is.

For instance: will the localization be completely moddable? Will you accept applications from localization teams to provide their work? Do you have a specific policy about this?

I'm sorry if I'm jumping ahead of times as I am probably doing (2020 could even mean 15 months)... but the hype train has departed and it's at full cruise speed right now.
