How will Humankind handle how you advance from one Age to the next?

Is it a Technology threshold like Civ?

Is it fixed points at 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and 5/6 of the total turn length of the game?

If it is Technology, does each player gain thresholds independently, or does it require the that the average Technology level of all players to surpass the threshold to trigger for the next Age for all players at the same time.

PC Gamer says you'll need 7 stars to advance to the next era (and there are potential 21 stars to take in each era)

So, it's something different from technology threshold.

Doing things that are worthy of Fame. These might depend on which culture you are playing when it comes to whether/how much they reward you for specific actions.

Hello,

To be a bit more specific: progressing through the ages is related to challenge common to every culture BUT depending on the specialty of your culture. You'll gain more from a specific challenge. Moreover, the gain of Fame is based on how fast you are to fulfill these challenges.

In addition to that, there will be other way to gain Fame which won't help you to move to the next Age.

Cheers,
