Just wondering if anyone know anything about the release date of humankind.

Considering the release of earlier Amplitude titles, i expect it to be Q3 to Q4 of 2020

I hope for a Release Date of "When it's done right & is ready, & not a moment sooner."...

Personally I do not care if it is released in 2021.

The product must be of excellent quality to be a competitor against Civ and its multiple expansions.

Do better than Civ6 isn't relly difficult XD. but i m agree with that i prefere waiting for a good game than a worst rushing game.

In term of aesthetics, I have no doubt that Amplitude will do better. Endless Legend is the most beautifil 4X in my opinion. Civ is pretty bland.

But 2K Games are very familiars with the game design, Amplitude will have to outdo themself to compete in replayability and strategic depth.

While it is Civ turf HK is touching, I think it offers enough different approaches to be a different game. Hence it isn t necessary Civ or HK, but both coexisting good games imo. That said it still doesn t hurt if the Devs do a good job. :D

I'll give it late July or September

September is when most games will release!

I've been there when Bannerlord stopped being merely a rumour. This is nothing.

The last competitor was CIV 4 and it is now old game. CIV5-6 are trash, boring games. I tried to play CIV 6 but always after 1 boring hour i didn't know why am i playing it.

My guess is, you shouldn't play more complex 4x games at all. One hour, really? Sorry.
