As all Mac gamers know I'm sure, a lot of games became unplayable when we upgraded to Catalina. And they're not going to become playable again. Not without using GeForce Now or some similar service. As of now Humankind looks like it won't be playable either. Are the devs going to address this?
Why do you think so? Endless Legend etc. all work under Catalina. Unity has support for 64bit Mac and since ArM Mac support has been confirmed too I fully expect Humankind to run in Apple Silicon at release as well.
Endless Legend and Endless Space 2 had 64 bit support from release (issues with the wrong version of Mono being installed nonwithstanding), and so will Humankind. That said, I do not know for sure if a Mac version will be available immediately on release day.
