The next OpenDevel covers the same 4 Eras as in Lucy OpenDew, but these Eras will be with a changed balance and mechanics.

The open dev is not confirmed for tomorrow.

I'm right there with you, I'm super hyped to play this game again!  I'm really looking forward to seeing all the progress, and changes they've made with the game.

I'm not sure when the OpenDev will be, I don't think they ever confirmed a specific date.

Here is the statement in the delay dev blog:

UPDATE: Our Studio Head Romain has confirmed that we are aiming to launch the next OpenDev around the original release date of April 22nd. We will release a blog with further details on when, where, and how to participate once the specifics have been settled.

I'm really really hoping they have it on the 22nd, but I personally have not seen that confirmed anywhere.

So far no official statement other than "another OpenDev around 22nd April" was made. We would have to wait...

i just bought game couple days ago, originially for inital release but then I saw postponing message, so at least for opendev. Gonna take day or two off for it. I enjoyed my civ craving with Old World in past year, so yeah I am pretty excited for new approach towards the genre.

yep, so far no news about Open Dev from developers at all. It is highly likely opendev isn't happening tomorrow and there is a slim chance it might happen by the end of April. 

If not, we won't have any OpenDev at all as developers simply won't have time to deal with the feedback.

Really looking forwards to a new open dev (even if it isn't tomorrow, which... I find unlikely at this point, they would have been more celebrative about it if they were)

I heard someone say the name of the original opendev changed.

It did change for a moment, in my Steam Library "Lucy OpenDev" was temporarily renamed to "Victor OpenDev" (can't remember the date) but it's back to Lucy now.

They promised they will try to have an openDev around the initial (second initial, i remember the real iniital iin summer beofre covid happened) date, so around the 22/04

They're apology vid on Youtube should clear it up, they talk a lot about the next opendev.

There is nothing 100% confirming an OpenDev on the 22nd. They stated during the Post Delay Announcement Stream that they are aiming to have on or around April 22nd. It's possible we'll get an announcement on the 22nd and then an OpenDev a few days later, and it's also possible they'll drop this "Victor" OpenDev right into our laps. We just don't know yet.

But yeah I'm pretty hyped.

We'll see. There are indeed some very interesting changes that were listed in the "Humankind Release Moved to August 2021" post. We are all eager to test them in a new OpenDev, but tomorrow may be a bit too soon :)

Btw.. how is opendev accessible in steam library? I will need sign for exp build or something?

I know opendev is not release yet, I did not found info in lucy opendev announcement and i was not owner back then.

On the last stream (week ago) they implied they will stick to their plan. That's enough to be sure it will happen, unless something major will suddenly prevent that.

From what I remember you had to sign in to you g2g account on g2g and link your steam account. If im not mistaken the opendev then should be in your steam library.

As far as I recall correctly, the last OpenDev (Lucy OpenDev) was activated by syncing your steam account with games2gether account. You can find that feature in your account setting (https://account.games2gether.com/account). After that, OpenDev appeared on your steam library.

Yes, and you need to sync one more time, even if you have already synced before(after the official starting time of OpenDev).

Go into your profile, sync Steam accounts.
(or link steam accounts, depending on if you have done it already or not)
IF you have had it before, or have pre-ordered it should it be in your rewards or already on steam.
