Hi!

I'm trying to figure out what the green and highlighted squares on the doctrine axes mean. I'm not talking about the ones marking each Empire's ideological position but the ones in between. I couldn't find this information anywhere, and it's not very intuitive for me.

For example, I've screenshot the axes on two consecutive turns between which an update happened:

It's obvious that changes happened in between turns leading to updates that were not highlighted during the earlier turn. That's a bit confusing, but okay.

My main question is what do the green squares mean, and why are two squares highlighted in some axes?
