During centuries the geographical features have had a deep impact among the human history; rivers, desserts or mountain ranges have drawn the borders between the human communities, so it will be great if in the game the geographical features had name. Apart ot the "flavour", maybe in diplomacy it would have sense treaties like "don't cross the river XXX", "don't colonize beyond XXX", and so...

If you check our recent Feature Focus video, or the blog associated with it, you'll learn that Humankind will not only have named geographical features, but the plan is for the first to discover them to get a chance to rename them.

Wait, Is It Possble for there to be randomly generated "Natural wonders" that confer bonuses on a civilization that owns it? for example, the Kailash Mountains(in Civ 6) confer a "faith" bonus to signify the religious importaince of the mountain.

Perhaps we could have a system where certain random events(faith founded, tile is site of relegious shrine) add value to certain natural tiles.

The landmarks are dynamic and their names are unique (bar player renaming, I guess), but I wouldn't exactly call them Natural Wonders.

Are you able to elaborate on the difference between the two? From the video it seemed to me that they were a cross between anomalies from EL and natural wonders from Civ, but I may have been interpretting it wrong.

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like from the screenshots that landmarks and natural wonders are two separate things.
