Once having installed the game, I hope Humankind will support being bale to play it in offline. Like when out travelling, on a smaller boat (sailing etc), vacation in remote locations, summerhouse etc it is fun to be able to play. Yes of course no steam achievements avaialble when offline, but at least that the game can be started and played even if have no internet connection.

Prior Amplitude games are available to play offline, so it's a decent bet Humankind will be too.

I'm glad to hear that. I'm really tired of so many games requiring constant online. Some publishers request the game studios to slap some multiplayer arenas on games and then use that as an excuse to also slap a micro-transaction store and ads in Your face and having to constantly be online to get us into their eco system. I have heard Humankind will have multi-player and that made me a bit worried. However I also know some other Turn Based Strategy games have Multi-player option but can still be played offline in single-player mode.
