There should be a search box for thread content so there isn't so much duplication.

Well, I agree that it's a bit hard to figure out at first, but there's one on top of the page, just left of your avatar.

The only problem is that it searches everything, not just a specific forum, for example. Votes, Ideas and Threads from every game pop up in the results. From there, sure, you can start tweaking specific settings and games and whatnot to check, but people starting new threads aren't going to go through all of that. A simple forum search would be significantly quicker and easier.

From what I've seen, any time I try to open a searched thread, I get a 404.

Google has a feature where if you type "site:[sitename]" it only brings you results from that site. So when I need to find something on games2gether I use this:

https://www.google.com/search?q=SITE%3AGAMES2GETHER.COM

This works far better than the built in search feature.

Agreed, I can't provide any screenshots right now (on my phone) but when you click on a Humankind's link based on your search, the thread's link is somewhat inexplicaby related to Endless Space 2, thus the 404 page. So, replacing it by humankind in the link's address should normally fix it.

Update with screenshots :

So let's say I want to search threads with "pin" keyword, that's what the top search bar gives as results :

First of all, threads/posts are colored in blue (Endless Space Forums) no matter where they actually belong (G2G, Endless Space, Endless Legend, etc ...).

Then, if you try opening one of the threads, it will usually result in 404 page (if this thread isn't located in Endless Space Forum, that is).

Now, when you look at the link's address of the thread (let's say the first one), you get this : https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/endless-space-2/forums/169-game-design/threads/36987-map-pin

Whereas the thread actually belongs to Humankind Forum. So if you just replace endless-space-2 by humankind, it's working : https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/humankind/forums/169-game-design/threads/36987-map-pin

But I guess I'll start using Eulogos tip, cause that's a bit of a hassle to have to rewrite the proper forum in the link where the thread belongs (plus, on the 404 page, you can't go back to the previous link).

There is from filters but yeah, you need to click the qucik suggestion, not the ones with filters as far as i know otherwise its 404 error, same when you click on a thread from notifications

Oh, thought that was just because some older threads might have gotten deleted. Didn't realize that happened for everyone.

Hello @Waykot ,

We have just fixed this issue! Threads now have the correct color and the correct link to access them :)
