In collecting some, most, or all of the "Checker pieces", worth different amounts of Fame Reward points during the game, Will that:
1.  Guide your CIV more towards what actually happened in History?  If so, are the last 10 culture choices equal if History plays out perfectly?  Same with each Era towards it, in Fame points to be earned?
2.  Trigger more unique combinations of Cultural Eras to either:

  A.  Gain a time advantage in earned Fame.  Certain possibilites might be able to collect Fame faster with a lead from a previous Culture History.

  B.  Gain a tactical advantage in earned Fame.  Certain possibilites might be in a better position in comparison to the competition, even though the Fame wasn't earned faster.

  C.  Give a possible kill shot against another CIV leading in A or B.  It might not be worthwhile to do that, if you lose out on more Fame in the long run by doing this, but its a consideration.

3.  Allow deviation from History to gain unrelated to Fame, for Player goals playing out alternate timelines?  I remember in one of the YouTube Videos vaguely that there's a "Catch-up" mechanism.  That could allow someone who is temperarily behind to be in the running, and perhaps overtake the leader in Fame.

4.  Be a point in the game, where its impossible for the competition to "Catch-up" like a Finish line at X fame, being Y amount of Fame points ahead?  Or, does the game always tend to last exactly 300 turns where the highest at that point wins?

5.  Be enough Fame for 300 turns?  I imagine situations where CIVs could be Futuristically ahead in one aspect or another aspect of the game, where there could be Fame to run out of.  I wonder about the generic Fame point reward system formula for following the pattern.  Will that have to be determined by an AI?
