I'd suggest to ask the first player to map a continent to give it a name, or else make it random.
It's also possible to give the possible once a threshold has been reached, to avoid the classic „one tile of mountain you can't see“.

Hi, nice suggestion, just concern on who decides the name, like imagine there are 5 players on the continent.

The continents do have a name, but the game don't show it in many places... when you get a deed like "Conquer Perseus" there is a continent named Perseus. Which one is it? Who knows!?

Yeah, the continents are auto-named after constellations, just as the territories are named after stars.  (As an astronomy hobbyist, I find this very distracting, but that's a matter for another thread! ^^; )

It might be neat if the continent names were revealed on the absolute furthest out zoom, replacing empire names with huge continent names instead.

I quite like the current naming convention of continents.

My only concern is that those names are not displayed anywhere.

Please, is it possible to display them on the Main Map

by zooming-out one more scroll-position?

Also, I would move the Wonders to that zoomed-out Main Map.
