I created a very masculine Avatar and as I started playing as him

I discovered that he was given quite a high-pitched voice.

Could there be a setting to select Avatar Voice?

Your avatar's voice is affected by their personality (which also affects their animations).  I forget what the exact term is, but there should be a drop-down in one of the avatar creation screens that affects your avatar's animations and voice.  I don't remember if you can preview how they sound, though, I haven't changed my avatar in about a year.

In that case I would in fact appreciate a Preview Voice option.

And some way of knowing what affects this. Could be meta-game information.

Also, how do you mean that the animations change?

I actually lost my avatar somehow and recreated it to the best of my recollection.
Apparently I forgot something and I would love to know what.
