Option to create own AI personas

The current system for accessing more personas for use in game is appalling. Add an editor so that users can create their own AI personas for use in games.

This is a genre that is predominantly single player. I cannot easily search for user uploaded personas that are advanced, normal or expert. Majority of those that are uploaded have steam user names as their identities. Massively immersion breaking.

Just unbelievably stupid that you don't have this feature. A huge own goal. Looks like you deliberately omit it to force engagement with persona upload and/or your challenge events. Both of those could coexist with a persona editor. Continued omission of such a feature in a predominantly single player genre is hostile to your playerbase

While I'm not sure that the genre is predominately singleplayer, and think it is quite an extreme statement to call the usernames-as-names format 'hostile', I think it'd be nice to afford these options to players like yourself, and others, that would benefit from such AI. Challenge personas fill that role to an extent, and it'd be nice to have more of those to play with.

That said, as someone that players 4X games, most of the time prior to HUMANKIND, as a 'multiplayer only' sort of genre, it is a novel and fun idea to me that I can play against the personas of my friends and make-believe I'm playing with them, or an embodiment of them. With so many friends around the world with schedules that don't overlap well, there is a novelty to this idea and the execution that I really enjoy.

I agree, I'd like to be able to make AI-controlled persons for me to play against.

Yes, I'm really disappointed that's not possible.

Having to search for avatars named ButtSniffer69 and the like instead of allowing us to use our own immersive creations is ridiculous and I can't believe that is still the case years after release.

I keep getting steamrolled by ButtSniffer69 too, can we get these options added?

Having a searchable database of user-uploaded personas categorized by skill levels (advanced, normal, expert, etc.) could further enhance the user experience by allowing players to find personas that suit their desired challenge level. This would address the issue of immersion-breaking usernames and provide a curated selection of personas for players to choose from.
