Improve Map Readability: Districts

Hi there,

Loving the game so far,

but I get lost with Districts towards the end game. Even with District-Overlay (or how it's called) on, there is a lack of readability: Resource-Extractors, Emblematic-Districts, Cultural-Wonders, Special-Districts (Administrative-Center, Harbor, Train-Station, Airfield, Airport, and some more) all have the same white Border and Triangles. This makes maintaining an overview more difficult than necessary once there are many Districts present; this especially frustrates me once I start construction on railway- and airport-networks.

So I wish the District-Overlay-Mode was enhanced to aid the player a bit more:
-Resource-Extractors are more or less fine, but could maybe use a separate color
-Emblematic-Districts should partially share the color/colors of the Districts they function as.
-Cultural-Wonders should have some little symbol at the center or a dedicated color
-Special-Districts should have a symbol at their center (Administration: feather and quill, Harbor: Anchor, Train-Station: Train, Airfield: Fighter-Plane, Airport: Cargo-Plane, ...)

I would also like if Territory boundaries would be highlighted better when placing Districts that are "once per Territory". It would also be nice if Airfields/Silos had some form of range-indicator(s) to aid strategic placement.

Looking forward to what more this game will evolve into <3

+1

Would also love to have pins for planning out a city's districts ahead of time.

+1 It's really hard to see what is in your cities when you're building, especially if you were supposed to build a bunch of Markets in X area and now you can't because you built food there because that was 130 turns ago and now you're confused.

There is an option in the game (a small toggle, right next to the turn-button in the lower left) that colors the "regular" districts (Farmers, Makers, Market, Research and Comons).
To me it sounds like you didn't find/use that yet?

However this is limited to the aformentioned "regular" districts. I wish this system was expanded to better differentiate all the other districts that currently are just white.

EDIT: added quote.

If you read the first post, it's clear that the poster is using this overlay and wants improvements to it.

I was replying to the post above the one you quoted. My bad for not quoting the post I was referring to.
