Description:
When overwriting a manual save that is of the current playthrough, the save will be gone from the in-game list and the Save Files folder.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Create a manual save. It can also be a pre-existing save from some previous session (but same playthrough).
  2. Overwrite the manual save by selecting the save, clicking "Save over" then clicking "OK".
  3. The save won't appear neither in-game nor in the Save Files folder. Waiting before rechecking if the save was successful doesn't change the result.
Reproducibility: 4/5
It always seems to happen when specifying a name for the save, but when leaving it as default (e.g. "Mycenaeans Turn 20") then I seem to be able save successfully once. After that it's no different.
The save won't disappear when on a different play-through. For example, I create a save, then quit to menu and start anew, overwriting the save then won't delete it.
Accounting for all of these points, it has so far happened consistently (5/5).

Expected behaviour:

Well, I expect the save to be still there :D

On a successful save, I have noticed that when opening the "Save" or "Load"  menu too quickly, the new save won't be immediately visible. But it will still be saved and, when opening the menu a few seconds later, it's there as expected.

Notes:

Autosaving and creating new saves are fine so I haven't lost any progress.

I may have had the same issue on Lucy OpenDev, but I can't remember anymore.

Did a short glancing search on the forums and haven't seen others report this yet.

I'd put the diagnostics here but it contains things I don't quite want to reveal on this forum (the save folder is in "myfirstname\Documents\Humankind"). Is there another place to send this info?

But basically this gets output:

16:29:42:680    None    [Storage.Exception] OpenStorageContainerWrite failed: Container testsave from Amplitude.Framework.Storage.StorageManager not found.

16:29:42:681    None    [Storage.Exception] OpenStorageContainerWrite failed: Container testsave from Amplitude.Framework.Storage.StorageManager not found.

16:29:42:742    None    Save request has failed.
