Not sure if I get your point with " can't pinpoint what element specifically performs this action ". On infraestructures that gives you food (as an example), you can mouse over to see how much food you will get based on the horses.
Perhaps that's not your point, so please do not hesitate to give me a bit more of details or adding any screenshoot.

I have no idea to whom I would "upload" the files you mentioned (files which I'll have to find, never looked for such things before).
You can create the bug report Here, but to make it easier for you, you can just drop them here and i move the thread.

I am not the best with the modds tools, but if not mistaken you can't have like new interfaces, but rather add the specifics of the current ones, meaning more descriptions, numbers etc.

The mod tools are outdated, we are working on an update, hopefully that should solve it.
But I have seen other modders that updated their mods, I will suggest to ask them directly (check on the discord, they have a channel to talk about it)
