OK, so the Humble Store usually only has keys for pre-ordered games a few days before the they actually release, and you don't "own" the game on Steam up until that point. But that being said, do they still give you a special key or something so you can still play the Open Dev scenarios? Or are you just completely left out?

I just brought Humankind from Humble Bundle and they do give out a key to redeem on steam. I am in Lucy Open Dev after syncing up my steam and claiming the reward. 

Would Nexus.gg a game bought from work then aswell for OpenDevs?
