Trade is an significant part of Humankind gameplay, however I feel managing Trade is a bit messy. Current Trade routes are only visible, when you click on each Civilization and then click on "Trade" tab of Diplomatic Screen. Moreover, by this mean, only import resources are displayed. Whenever AI Civilization purchases one of my resources, a small pop-up notification shows up. But so far I couldn't find any way to see all active import/export Trade routes.
Speaking of Trade route, apparently there are also Trading Posts on land and small port-like structures on shore, which are automatically generated. (But port-like structure does not appear if there is actual a Harbor district in that region). I observed moving any military Units onto one of these tiles or building inappropriate districts, which are unrelated to Trade, could destroy the entire passing Trade routes, thus generating numerous Grievances among many Civilizations at once.
In this regard, I would like to propose a Trade Panel and Trade Screen, just like Science Panel/Screen or Religion Panel/Screen
Upon clicking on a Trade Panel, the map is transformed into Trade map, showing us locations of Trading posts and Trade routes, destinations, locations of deposits. Toggle on/off possible: import, export, and each Civilization. (But no text. Further written information would be on Screen)
Under Trade Panel there would be button "Go to Trade Screen" like one on Science Panel. On Trade Screen a graphical chart would be displayed.

2) such as [Forbid New Trade], [Only Trade Luxurious Resources], [Trade everything], [Alliance: Cheap Trade], [Alliance: Free Trade], [Embargo(demand is present)], [War(no trade)]
And lastly, there should be a small pop up message, whenever another Civilization exploits a new Deposit. Looks like AI immediately purchases newly extracted resources (if it needs one) , whereas human Players have to manually check each Civilization once in a while or literally find a newly-exploited deposit on the Map. That is quite inconvenient.
I just want to go ahead and second all of your suggestions. Doing a Merchant playthrough and too many aspects of trade are opaque and/or tedious to manage (esp. checking each civ for new resources frequently).
