Hello. I played 3 games. Although I only finished one, I got over the hundredth round in the previous two. I will give the reason below. Here I will describe my findings. Right at the beginning, I must admit that I did not play on a strong game set, but rather on a below-average computer.
1. When loading a saved game, it always shows the current as Neolithic era. Current culture as tribal.
2. Despite gaining a sufficient amount of knowledge, my tribe (era0) did not gain legacy to other ages.
3. I don't really like simultaneous moves. And for two reasons. The first reason is the heavy load on RAM. All players start moving with their units at once. At the beginning of the turn, the game freezes completely for players who have RAM 8GB or less, just like me. The second reason is that the game completely lacks the meaning of turns. I suggest the option to allow the game to be set to simultaneous / turn-based before running a scenario.
4. During my playing, I had problems getting to the strategic resouce to upgrade my crossbows. I only got to the resouce when I could upgrade it to musketeers. But at that moment, I needed two resouces. So I couldn't upgrade my crossbows. It would be appropriate to upgrade the units gradually. Step by step.
5. Regarding unit upgrades. It is necessary to upgrade unit by unit, it is not possible to upgrade the whole pack at once.
6. Strategic resouce and luxury resouce are dealt with in the worst way. Why didn't you deal with it like in previous games? As in Endless Legend, or Endless Space 1 and 2? This method is copied from the Civilization series and it's very silly. Do I only need two mines to build a giant fleet (not to mention the absence of resouce - wood)? What will be next? All I need is one oil field to power a giant armored army that will conquer the whole world?
7. Retreat from the fight is "free". However, the attacking pack loses all movement. It's hard to catch a fleeing army. Why isn't the retreat handled like other Endless games? That the retreat would take a certain amount of health. In addition, it would open up opportunities for new abilities for units, civics or nations, to limit this disadvantage.
8. The game often crashes and freezes at a later stage. The reason is again simultaneous moves, associated with a high number of units and occupied territories.
9. The intelligence of naval units in finding routes is poor. The units arbitrarily enter the open ocean and perish there almost immediately (3rd round). Automatic exploring is also bad. I sent 4 ships from the same place in the same turn for automatic exploring. All ships headed in the same direction. So the exploring was actually carried out only by the first ship. And after three rounds, the ships disappeared into the waves.
10. The last thing. Why didn't I finish two games? The label over the city has disappeared. An event appeared in the city that I had to deal with, but the event was associated with this label. So it was not possible to start another turn until I resolved the situation.
