[Feedback/Discussion] Should District Enable Units to Scale/Climb Cliffs?

In my game play I have noticed that once two or more than two Districts were constructed with elevation/height difference, it changes the way Units behave on these tiles. It is a bit hard to explain in plain text, so please look at this screenshots:

If any Districts were built like this example,

then, it is possible for a Unit on this tile to scale/climb up Cliffs, both a melee attack or movement in Battle.

And in normal time, it allows Base Unit Movement through Cliffs as well.

First I would like to ask Amplitude studios whether it is a feature of Humankind or just a bug.

If it were a genuine game mechanic, then I would like to know how fellow players feel about this one. Personally in my humble opinion, I think that this feature has both negative and positive impacts on tactical value of terrain, particularly in Battle. On the one hand, defender would have to block all tiles that would have been impassable natural barriers to enemy, if no Districts had been constructed. On the other hand, especially defender would be able to create a small "door" to otherwise completely blocked natural barriers, so that flanking attackers would be much more effective (if the attacker was not expecting such move). Also for attacker, the situation is very similar. More possible invasion routes are always better than only one narrow passage, as long as the doors are not used to channel enemy Units into your flank. And last but not least, in normal time, such ability would save many Base Movement costs of various Units, from scouting Units to Military Units that are being dispatched to the front.

So how do you think of it?
