Hello,


The game is already very interesting, I will not develop the good things (as they are already in-game features) but things that can be improved.

I'll get as quickly as possible to the point to list every bugs I met and some proposal to keep improving the game :


Interface

  1. The speed to move the camera around is too slow. I had to zoom-out, zoom-in to look at my next city
  2. Rename empires, that's not immersive to be named Empire 0
  3. When choosing for the next era, we should be able to identify clearly which type of culture we pick (Need a tooltip)
  4. Tooltip for : Blason under picture in diplo mod + Ideology icon + luxury goods in trade mod + typ of cultures
  5. Need a recap for each empire : population, city, state religion
  6. Make empires' color more different (Orange/Yellow/Green are too close)
  7. Some civics/religious bubbles of other countries do not appears (maybe my misunderstanding)
  8. Peace treaty interface not clear, why different colors ? Outpost are writen as cities...
  9. Also text not shown for : %DiplomaticMoral_OvertimeInfluenceType_OurCityOccupiedbyWarriorDescription
Gameplay
  1. Why do we want faith points ? Ok, it keep spreading our religion, but no other interest ?
  2. Game speed is too quick. When we build a unit it's already outdated. Every era should be more long
  3. Every culture type's objective are not equal (Expensionist is way harder than scientist, ...)
  4. Nothing to do with cities after turn 100. No advantages to build them further more.
  5. Why is there Holy Sites for Atheist ?

Map

  1. Some big river ends in lakes, better go through
  2. Pathfinding : Units try to go through borders when a hex adjacent to the border is unrevealed.

Bugs

  1. Naval (or embarked) units sometime duplicates at sea. Creating an invisible unit (Load a save resolve it)
  2. At sea land unit get some movement point announce but in fact, they can move one hex further.
  3. Attrition at sea of Cog occure on turn 1 in high sea. Granting no benefit from trireme (even worse)
  4. Line of sight in battles : Can see from hill to hill with forest in the middle but some times can shoot through hills
  5. Buggy after turn 100 : (Units running on themselves, Sound getting very bad, performance going down, crash ....)
  6. Forcing surrender terms : Getting Ottomans icons everywhere (not at war with them)
  7. Forcing surrender terms : Can't pick anything / Not working
  8. Reloading the game from a game make it performe badly

AI

  1. Auto-Explore at sea will keep your naval units dying in high seas.

I believe your post is fair and objective, I would just have read it and moved on, but I wanted to expand a bit on that you said at:

I have never experienced that as bug, sometimes there are points of interest at the high seas which can give you another naval unit; so I don't know if it's an actual bug or if you've just ran into one of those POI and haven't paid attention.
Also you don't need to reload to fix the invisible unit bug, just combine that unit with another visible unit and then separate them back again, if such bug happens to an entire army, splitting the army into a new unit and then merging them again would also fix it.

Firstly, thanks for your comment.


Secondly, I did know about the point of interest, but that was not linked to the bug.


Unmerging + Merging did not resolve the bug. Neither does disembarking armies.

I'm pretty sure my "invisible armies" are duplications of my already existing armies. 


It may (?) be linked to the fact that naval unit movement create one more extra movement point after moving ?
