- Could use a lot more tooltip information and more detail about the effects of buildings, infrastructure, &c., in what each city is producing. Especially for faith and influence where I found it impossible to figure out how the totals were reached.
- The trade system I found totally opaque. Diplomacy was also hard to understand, and it is annoying that you can't move directly between talking to different leaders or see a global diplomacy overview.
- Market quarter does not seem worth building.
- Explanations of the effects of some wonders could be clearer. Does it affect all units, or only those built in this city; all cities, or only the one it is built in, &c.? If all units are effected by a bonus, it would be good to see that clearly on a tooltip on the unit.
- A couple of bugs: Lighthouse of Alexandria did not appear on the map when built (when being built, but not when complete, IIRC). Tooltip showed it was there, but not visible. And I don't think the number of Holy Sites was working correctly. My level 3 tenet did not enable me to build a new one (though it said it would), and at level 4 I picked the tenet which gives you +3 sites and it only let me build 2 more. I had cities enough with space.
- Main problem from my point of view was in the final era, which was very boring The first three eras were interesting and exciting to try and reach the goal of the next era, but the last one was just clicking through the turns to reach the end. This is obviously a problem with lots of 4X games but I hope it isn't what Humankind will be like in the later game.
Overall this is very exciting and I will be very interested to play the full game, but I do hope the challenge and interest will persist right through the late game.
