Hi everybody, I have some question to the resource counting system. in some times I can't follow the numbers count on new building tiles.

here some examples:

why are here two different numbers? especialy with the harbor it isn't really clear which resources would be collected. (+5 / +9)

at the second picture is the same type of "fault", but in the other direction +4 / +1

third image: why do I lose food, if I build a food quater on this tile?

can you please help me with my problems? or are these some sort of bug?

Thank you in advance

In the second image with the dock, by placing it at the far edge you lose the top hex. Harbors draw in food from 2 tiles away.

In the third image I would have to know more about your culture buuuuuuuuuuuut ...
It's probably because you are covering a river hex which you are probably gaining +2 bonus from.

thank you for the answer. but this leads to more questions ;-)

OK harbors draw in Food 2 Tiles away, so I lose only 1 food. -> that explains the +5 to +4 drop what are the other numbers? +9 and +1?

2. my cultures was: Olmec / Maya / Teutones (no one was a agriculture)

in this city there was a flood control (I dont know the exact name). but a -2 drop is only explainable, if the tile is losing its state to being a river after you place the farmers quarters. for me it doesn't make sense ;-)
