On my third attempt with Victor, I tried the Humankind difficulty and found it fairly easy (scoring over 10000 fame). I indicated in the survey that I'd like the game to be a bit harder than it is. I was worried that, at release, I wouldn't find the game challenging enough to repeatedly play. This time around, with the closed beta, I'm happy to say I'm finding the Humankind difficulty very hard. This isn't a complaint. I'm actually glad the game has gotten harder - it creates more of a challenge. I was just wondering if others are feeling the same way. My one issue - and this might be something that will be figured out soon - is that I'm getting bottlenecked by fame early on. I've only played the first 30-40 turns two or three times so I haven't tried every possibility. What's everyone else thinking?
