Whenever I try to create a new multiplayer game it opens the lobby for about 2 seconds then close it and an error says "you were forcibly disconnected from the game". I just tried to join a game while typing this and got the same thing. I am on a DMZ, I also tried with windows firewall on and off.

Not a game dev or anything, but I am a software developer.
Looking at the Diagnostics, it looks like there is some difference in the patch revision versions.
Just curious, Jakoby, are you playing with friends or strangers? If so, is the person hosting the lobby using a different platform then you? (Like are you using Steam and they are using Epic Games Store)

I've put up a network trace and it seems like during the initial black screen the game fetches all the info of the people you follow. Interestingly, it always fetches your own Gamertag last, so if you have more than 15+ people you follow, it does not reach that point as XBL servers throttle your calls. Hence the empty Gamertag and not working MP. That's why new accounts work and old ones with many friends don't. So as a temporary measure, until the devs fix the issue, you could try reducing the number of follows you have (I think anything less than 14 should work).

Let me know if that fixes it for anyone as that will help AMP address the root cause sooner.

He solved it! Well done and thank alot! Got an old Xbox-Acc with more then 15 friends. Deleted down to 14, and it worked.

Yup - can confirm that this worked for me and three friends. Bravo! So anyone on Game Pass without issues just doesn't have many friends :P
