Same, just finished my first game have a bunch of Achievements listed in my XBox Achievements, but no trophies are unlocked ingame.

It seems it worked at one point as I can see some progress on some trophies like "All you can eat buffet", but no trophies were unlocked at all after that (probably from my very first session on release day?!)

I have the same problem xbox version My friends are all steam and have not encountered this problem

I have been playing since launch on Xbox Game Pass and have 27 Achievements on the Xbox app for the game at this rate. I'd really like to finally get to customize my AI Persona so my friends can play with me in some tangible way since the Online just doesn't work right now. 

I really dislike that after all the effort, the 30+ hours of Gameplay at this rate, I still can't customize my AI Persona even though I've unlocked a couple dozen in-game achievements. 

Bumping the thread cause I really want some help for all of us here. 

Also experiencing this issue. It's even more frustrating because I set an AI persona, but now if I change, I lose the better strengths that I picked.

I found a workaround for those of you with an end-game save. If you load up a previous save, you seem to get all the trophies from that game. I loaded up a turn 220+ game, played a turn, then backed out. It worked for me.

That didn't work for me. Even with the new update I have none of my in game trophies. I also still haven't heard anything about this situation from the devs, making me believe this problem is still falling on deaf ears. 

Yeah, tried the reloading thing as well. Ended the game got the trophies. Edited my AI Persona with the new unlocked stuff.

Today I start up the game, all trophies are gone again, the AI Persona still has the traits though, just can't select them if I want to change it.

The AI Persona is stored in G2G so I guess that is why the traits are still there. The trophies are apparently stored somewhere else and that gets wiped everytime you restart the game. While I enjoy playing the game and I think the idea of giving the player a reason to chase achievements because they unlock stuff is neat, this is getting so frustrating that I rather the system would not be there at all...

Not 100% sure about this but I think your trophy progress is still saved in the game, you just aren't given access to them because of the verification issue.

Can you please share your logs here? If you can also mention the relevant lines in the log file, and the path you found the logs in, that will be incredibly helpful to the rest of us and to the devs to further investigate this issue.

I found them too. They are in your Documents\Humankind\Temporary Files

The files are named "Diagnostics (...).html" and the logs about not locating the achivments look like this:

This logs are generated every time you launch the game, which would explain why the trophies are working in the same session when you unlock them, and then get removed next time you run Humankind.

I am having this issue as well on Game Pass. In addition, some Xbox Achievements are not being unlocked after earning them.

Same and bump @dev's dd this to issues if at least someone has read any of this, i saw multiple reports with not a single dev reporting in. AGAIN.

Same problem here, I can't make my Avatar AI because stuff doesn't unlock no matter what

they dont care

i want a fucking fix and the devs never reply to this issue. 

@BlazeJohnny You will get a fix, don't worry. But you behaving like you do on multiple threads or the devs responding to your comments won't make things go faster.

Also, in all objectivity, I don't think this specific issue is the top priority at the moment (I mean, trophies not unlocking is not exactly game breaking).

But then again, I'm just another customer waiting for fixes as well, albeit a bit more civilized.

I dont mind waiting for a fix, but the "known issues" list hasnt been updated for weeks. Altho not game-breaking, im not touching a game that wont give rewards/progress. Id much rather have a bug of a unit not being able to embark than trophies being locked out.

Update: I am able to earn the trophies again (even those i have previously earned and lost), but they still disapear after closing the game.

Same problem as everyone else.

In my AI persona every strength and bias that aren't Achievement-related are kept. However, I just stole 3 cultural Wonders and got the achievements and the -25% claim cost strength. But when I restarted, the strength was gone. It is but one of many examples.

Why isn't it patched yet?

Did we ever get any updates about this bug? Any workarounds besides loading up all of your previous saves?

I just booted up and it looks like the latest update has fixed it, though I needed to download my avatar as it appeared to reset it to the default

Yes, after the latest update I can see my unlocked trophies! I'll finish a game to see if newly unlocked ones stay so. But many thanks to the Amplitude team for their care and support!
