I have noticed that since the game released, I have owned the game since day 1, that occasionally the game will bug out and will be stuck in the middle of a turn. Normally I would just save the game and reload and that fixes the problem. However, this is the first time I just cannot get past the turn I am on. I have restarted the game itself twice and have tried backing out and reloading the game multiple times. The final time that I attempted this, I found a brand new error I have never saw before.
Saved game loading error:
When I tried loading a saved file, autosave or otherwise, it kept stopping me and giving me the following error:
The Operation was Cancelled
at Amplitude.Mercury.Game.Game+<DoStart>d__4.MoveNext () [0x00157] in <3861d9ad61e249e497a7bd2d2fdab91d>:0 at Amplitude.Coroutine.Run () [0x00019] in <99f6f1f40c7c488b903a8defa7e50483>:0
I imagine restarting the game might fix this error, but regardless, as it stands, my game is bugged and cannot be progressed further.
The error message you've sent means that the save is corrupted, probably by something that caused your stuck between turn situation. Therefore in order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:
- One of the save that makes this error appear, and if possible any working save from the game in which you've encounter the stuck situation. Your saves are by default located:
o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files
o Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in /library/ application support/humankind/Save Files
- Your diagnostics logs. These are time stamped, and any time you close and relaunch the game, new ones are started. Please grab all diagnostics logs related to the session you were playing and you've encounter the stuck in between turns situation. These are by default located:
o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Temporary Files
o Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in user/library/ application support/humankind/Temporary Files
Thank you for taking the time to send us this report.
